The IC670MDL740 output module is a DC positive output module manufactured by GE Fanuc. It consists of 16 sourcing-type discrete outputs that switch the loads to the positive side of the DC supply. The required power for the module is supplied by the Bus interface unit or BIU’s power supply. The IC670MDL740 output module also has the facilities to connect an external power supply through a 5-Amp fuse. It offers individual LEDs for each output point on the logic side and they are visible through the transparent portion of the top plate of the module. The outputs can switch the load within the range of 10 to 30 Volts DC with a nominal voltage of 24 Volts DC and 4 Amps of maximum current.
