BACK UP function: - this protection is designed to handle the situation whereby, in the Normal duty mode, the opening command transmitted to the contactor via PR212/CI has not been implemented, i.e. the contactor has not tripped. If this happens, the Ekip M-LRIU release transmits a trip command directly to the circuit-breaker after having waited a time defined. A waiting time between the command transmitted to the contractor and the back-up command transmitted to the circuit-breaker is required so as to take the contactor opening time into account;
